Ford Transit mk7 (from 2006) - fuse box (EU version) Jonathan Yarden Mar 25, 2021 ยท 5 min. read. In this article you will find a description of fuses and relays Ford, with photos of block diagrams and their locations. Highlighted the cigarette lighter fuse (as the most popular thing people look for).
The ABS light comes on in the dashboard of Ford Transit Connect when one or more of the wheel speed sensors have malfunctioned, brake fluid is too low, the fuse is blown or the relay is bad, tire pressure is low, or if the ABS module has developed a defect. When the ABS light / comes on in your Transit Connect, the anti-lock braking system is
Starter is far more unlikely than the alternator as a drain, just unplug at the alternator. Have you had a drop test done on the battery, either modern eletronic tester or old skool BIG resistance. mk7 08reg 2.4 T350 LWB MHR RWD mk6 X reg 2.4 T350 LWB MHR RWD - scrapped mk4 J reg 2.5 L300 LWB MHR RWD - sold on Notice a trend there ? not too big

The ford transit van just ticks when I turn the key, and all the lights light up I am sure its not the battery as the radio comes on (and when my battery was dead before the radio would not go at all). I watched a youtube video on how to diagnose and change it.
Re: Mk7 not charging. It looks like the alternator wiring goes the the jump start terminal at the front of the engine bay. Umm..2012 won't be a 2.4, must be a 2.2..late 2011 was start of Euro-5. 2.4 were only Euro-4. 2008 2.4L RWD 170+PS 6-speed 350 LWB High Roof.
You'll need to show the year of the van. 2011 there were significant changes. The 2012 2.2 has a smart alternator and a BMS battery management system. A 7 grove clutch pulley. Alt, one thick wire from/to battery, one thin wire from/to PCM, PCM linked to BCM, BCM linked to BMS and IPC. Was DRRB 74 KW 100 HP 100 cv. Now CYR5 125 HP.

The alternator is an essential part of the power circuit in your TRANSIT. It provides the necessary electrical energy for the engine (via the battery) and for ancillary functions (lights, heating, air-conditioning, radio, GPS, etc.). Its lifespan is around 100,000 miles. A defective alternator can lead to many types of breakdown, possibly
A decent mechanic can diagnose which part has failed relatively easily. If your ford transit is making a whining noise when accelerating, the most likely cause is low fluid in the power steering pump. Check the fluid and replace as much as is necessary and the whining sound should go away. If the noise is the back of the van.
